Health care in the region includes East Central Health and the David Thompson Health Region.
East Central Health
East Central Health serves the communities in the counties of Beaver, Camrose, Flagstaff, and the Municipal Districts of Provost and Wainwright. East Central Health provides health services to 110,000 residents with close to 84 communities through health centres, hospitals, public health, home care, rehabilitation offices, mental health clinics, and various associate partners. David Thompson Health
David Thompson Health services 282,900 residents, covers 60 thousand sq. km of territory and employs about 8,000 staff. There are over 350 practicing physicians in the region.
